2024 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame: Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool & The Gang, Among Inductees

The official announcement of the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees took place on April 21st during an episode of American Idol, with host Ryan Seacrest and judge Lionel Richie.

Among those joining the exclusive club are Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kool & The Gang.

American Singer, Songwriter, and Actress Mary Jane Blige born on January 11, 1971, in the Bronx, New York to parents Jazz musician Thomas Blige, and Nurse Cora fell Under the Performer Category.

The "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul’s career started in 1988 When André Harrell, the label's founder, signed her to Uptown Records. She then started working with record producer Sean Combs aka P. Diddy.

To date Mary J. Blige has won nine Grammy Awards, twelve NAACP Image Awards, and more!

She was listed as the 25th best singer of all time by Rolling Stone in 2023.
